ABOUT
FIRST FIRST COAST FLY FISHERS
First
Coast Fly Fishers, FCFF, is family-oriented fly fishing club dedicated to
promoting the sport of fly fishing, fly fishing education
and resource awareness. Come to a monthly meeting
-- you'll see why we consistently are rated among
the top
fly fishing clubs on the East Coast.
Meetings,
dates and speakers are listed on the
meetings page. We
meet at 7 p.m. in the Southpoint Marriott Hotel, 4670
Salisbury Rd (intersection of I-95 and J. Turner Butler),
Jacksonville, Florida. Come early, if we have enough
light, David Lambert, Dick Michaelson, and Rich Santos give free casting
lessons at the hotel pond. Don Reed and others teach fly tying in the winter months.
Guests
are always welcome. Our members
participate in monthly outings as well as free fly tying
lessons, casting clinics, family days, classes, and
seminars throughout the year. Our year-end
FCFF
Banquet
Weekend is a full two-day affair where we bring in a
world- renowned fly fisher as our guest speaker and clinic
instructor.
On banquet night we
offer a great meal, and impressive speaker, and literally
thousands of dollars fly fishing merchandise, guided trips,
clinics, and related items.
Family
memberships cost $100 per year. Youth memberships are free.
